My favorite line:
The gun control debate focuses largely on what might go wrong, rather than what actually happens.

Easier to hype it that way...never did get that "bloodbath" they promised after concealed carry was made legal here in Texas, huh?

That is the pattern with every gun law that is repealed or relaxed across the country. Opponents present us with wild, ill thought out "what if" scenarios that make no sense and have little to no chance of happening.....we respond with statistics, historical facts and reasonable examples.

Personally, I hope they stick to that game plan. When their bloody, dire predictions fail to materialize they look like fools to anyone who cares to notice the disconnect between the antis imagination and reality.

I liked this.
One simple measure of how well these laws have worked is a po-litical one: despite states adopting right-to-carry laws as long ago as the 1920s, there has never even been a legislative hearing held to res-cind these laws.
I didn't like this.
Still, the Bush Administration strongly fought against letting pilots carry guns.
I also liked the portion about schools and guns.
