Sorry, Those of you who have seen Steve Martin in "The Jerk" will remember this line. Today as I walked from my apartment complex mailboxes with my brand spankin' new CHL license in hand, I wanted to shout "The new phonebooks are here! The new phonebooks are here!" But then I remembered what happen to Steve Martin in "The Jerk" right after he did that. A sniper started taking shots at him. So I kept it quiet as I walked back to my apartment with my envelope from the TX DPS in hand.

You're almost there teri! Mine was very 2nd amendment patriotic like. I took my class the day after memorial day and my license was manufactured the day after the 4th of July.

I hold onto 'phone books, especially the 'real' Yellow Pages'. Many have notations of defunct/current contact mumbers, Technician, contact information, who-what-when-where, charges, and passable work or not.

The other directories get recycled. Some after getting wet and catchcing a few rounds.
