Hyde Park Council pulled the plug on the sound system to stop Bruce Springsteen and Sir Paul McCartney from jamming as they had exceeded the 10:15 curfew. This was something Bruce said he had waited 50 years to do. Guitarist Steven Van Zandt called England a police state. Bruce and Paul without sound were not able to thank the crowd good bye.

That would have been a good concert to see. It wouldn't have bothered me that they pulled the plug, 10:15PM is getting close to my bedtime. As far as Steven Van Zandt's comment - when in Rome ...

The same limousine liberals who push for bigger government in this country, and campaigned for the guy in charge who appoints people that wish to control our daily lives...complaining about having their lives intruded on by the government? That is rich, really really rich...

I lived a cross the street from a City Park for many years. I sort realized the advantages outweighed, the occasional inconvenience. But in this case I would have had my lawn chair in the front yard, even if it was 10:30.

Probably not if it were a fraternity party with a band playing Louie Louie.
I lived in a house where the back yard was next to a high school. My back deck had a good view of the football field. Living there had it advantages. The kids could walk to school in five minutes.
During the fall, it was a bit of a pain when the marching band practiced. Every year I would hear the band practive the same song over and over until they got it right. At least they knocked off early.

Wow! He's a narcissistic whiny little wanker. They had already exceeded their time by half an hour before the amplifiers were cut off. The authorities were more than fair by allowing them an extra half hour. But that wasn't good enough for the selfish twit.
Idiot probably voted for Obama.
