How much property does your friend have in San Angelo? I currently shoot at the San Angelo Gun Club on Arden Rd but have been looking to purchase some acreage so I can do some shooting...

Next time you are in San Angelo, give me a shout! I'd love to meet up/shoot.

That must be expensive. I hear property there is selling for $1.98 an acre now

Boy, I sure did a lot of drinking in that town :cheers2:

I was stationed there while in the military (Goodgrief AFB, er, Goodfellow AFB  ). I was attending classes for training on stuff I'm pretty sure that I STILL can't talk about.

Actually, I enjoyed my time there. That was back when the drinking age in Texas was raised to a whole 19 years old (up from 18). It was also when I learned that Lone Star Beer was downright awful and only fit for tourists, and Shiner Bock was Texas' best-kept secret. :txflag:

Be honest! The reason you can't talk about it is because you can't remember!!!

It was my friend's property, Manual. We met at a wounded warrior golfing event, he was my sponsor, and I was on his golfing team. Turns out that he was a Vietnam LRRP Army Ranger. Great guy.
