Can't put it off any longer. I have to go to my doctor tomorrow which is in
http://www.hospitalcraigranch.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; there. I have never seen ANY posting of any kind that I remember. I didn't carry last time because I had to get a steroid shot in the rear end. Which that got me thinking then and I never posted. Do you carry at your doctor? I know not all are in hospitals.
They just built a new Baylor here in Mckinney and its posted CLEARLY about 3 feet tall PER English and Spanish! Why can't all places be like that?
Someone posted something on here about a mall. I hope I have not been going to the mall armed illegally. The theater in the mall is marked but not per specs. It is not 1" etc. The mall is Stonebriar Frisco.
Anyways, in the event I CAN carry at this hospital/doc office. I almost always have my shirt lifted or taken off etc. It is to my understanding churches and hospitals have to be marked now right?
any help will be appreciated thank you.

You are good to go at all Dr. offices, malls, private businesses, churches, etc. provided that they are not 30.06 posted or nobody from that establishment has given you a verbal request/warning. I carry at my doctor, but I keep it in a backpack instead of on me in those situations. The only time I would consider leaving it in the car is if I know I am going to have an MRI or X-RAY, since I would have to leave my weapon unattended.

Yeah I got you. Kind of why I want something device caliber in a pocket pistol. I'm going to look very hard today. I typically go in a side door and come out the main entrance to look. Only my 3rd time and a year to go.

I have a Dr in that building. I've never seen anything. If its not posted where it should be, then you have a legitimate argument either way. I've never seen anything at their doors or by the reception desk, and I look pretty hard.

I carry to my doctors since her building is not marked with any 30-06 signs.

I recently went to a doctor's appointment in a medical office building (not a hospital). They had a dated "legal notice" that was no longer valid (used the old wording, not the new). I walked right past it with my Glock 23 in my IWB holster.
During my appointment, I had to remove my shirt. I paused a minute, then simply said:
"I have a CHL and I'm armed. Do you have a safe place you'd like me to place my gun?"
He never paused a lick, pointed to the counter that had the sink and said "Right there would be fine, it it's OK with you". I put it there, he ran his tests with his assistant. Then watched as I put it back on. He said "Ahhh, a Glock 9mm". I smiled and said "Actually, it's a .40 caliber. The Glocks all look similar though." The three of us then spent about 15 minutes talking about range practice results, and advantages of the different size handguns.
I had to go straight from there to a radiologist's office for an MRI. Of course, I had to disarm there too. The technician running the equipment was from Iowa (very distinctive accent, so I asked), and when I asked about what to do with the gun, she also was pretty indifferent. We discussed it as I was putting it back on, and she said she was raised around guns so it didn't bother her. Then she surprised me. She said it was a good thing, since so many of their patients are armed when they come in.
It's a Texas thang, I guess :)

Wow hats off to you. I went in unarmed just in case. I was really nervous. Call it age, experience, lack of education, or all of the above. I guess I could always try it. Since it is not marked is the worst that could happen is asking me to leave? Thanks for sharing
