We went and spent 3 days on the island and didn't see a single 30-06 Sign or any Gun Busters Signs. The GPD we meet was very nice and helpful while we were eating and asking about sites to visit in town. :patriot:

We visited Moody Gardens and the Bishops Palace. It was refreshing to go all over town and shop with out seeing nanny signs.

It used to be a lot better in my youth. Went back for the first time in almost 20 years and its not the same.

Glad you had a nice trip, Delta. I haven't been down there in a while but I rather enjoy visiting despite the din of the anti-Galveston crowd.

It was our first trip together since our Honeymoon 17 years ago. Ike caused a lot of improvements along the Seawall. I was asked for money once but I gave them a firm respectful response and it was over. :txflag:
