School cook arrested with his girlfriend after they 'hid loaded gun in stroller next to baby daughter'

Officers were investigating a robbery attempt and assault in which one man was hit in the face with a firearm after the robber who they knew as 'John' demanded money.

This can't be correct. That's a gun free zone. Can't criminals just follow the rules.

I have always thought "Gun Free Zone" was an oxmoron. Same with "Drug Free Zone."

Is like they are saying, it's OK to use/have drugs on this sign of the sign, but not on the other side. It thought it was illegal everywhere.

They weren't AT school, he is just a cook (or WAS a cook). Now he will get to work in the kitchen at the prison.

According to the article,
Bijoel was charged with robbery, theft of a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm due to a felony conviction from 2001.
So they have ex-cons working at the "local school". Humm.

It's not surprising that a felon could land a job as a cook in a school. Many low-paying and low status jobs don't require a security background check.
I didn't know that schools actually still have cooks. I thought they just sent out for pizza.

The article is from the UK, but it happend in New Hampshire (USA)

I saw that it happened in Manchester and assumed UK. Shows how much I know about N.H.
