This is a short video of a demonstration of the rubberband-powered "Delta Dart" in the Tustin blimp hanger. This isn't the kid's competition, but adults can have fun too.

This activity is good to teach children about aviation and competition. It is good for children from elementary through high school. The Delta Dart kit contains everything you need to build an airplane and only cost a few dollars. It's amazing how long some of the can flight using only a rubber band for power. It might not be PC, because they have a contest with actual winners. ;-)
