Mob Of Teens Steals $3K Of Jeans From Wicker Park StoreCHICAGO (CBS) – A mob of more than 20 teenagers descended on a trendy Wicker Park shop on Saturday and made off with more than $3,000 worth of jeans.

They are getting better organized and using the power of numbers to confuse and steal. Since it is hard to catch them all or even defend yourself against them.

So tell me why $20-$40 video games are in a locked cabinet but $200 jeans (which are frequently stolen) are not chained to a rack?

These mobs are becoming the new trend and they need to come up with a method to deal with these cases. As a customer, I would be a wee bit afraid because the violence is going to escalate as it does when they feel they need for more of a "thrill".

The police could try one of those stings. Advertise that if you were one of the people seen in the video that the news showed just come on down to fill out a report and identify yourself in the video and we'll take care of you. But, alas, it is the Chicago police. If they started locking up all those folks who would vote for Rahmbo Dead Fish in the next election?
