Got all the parts on the bike prepped and painted. My buddy laid three coats of clear down. He was moving houses to the country, and doesnt have hos booth setup uet. Have some orange peel issues and 2 runs to clean up. I have all the 1500 and 2000 sand paper and will start wet sanding the peel.

I could use a hand from someone who has done some compounding and polishing an has a good rotary polisher.

I've never done it and don't want to burn through and jack it up.

Would trade cold adult beverages in exchange for help.

I'd love to help but I never got much past the wetsanding phase myself. Always had more experienced folks around willing to do the compound/polish work. Good luck on the project, and I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures when its done.

I've had pretty good luck with 1Z Einszett cleaners & polishes for car finishes (removing minor scratches & spider webs/swirls), but don't have the smaller back plates & pads for a bike. I'm not a paint guy, but I thought you needed to remove orange peel before adding another coat? Hope it works out for you - worse case, flat paint jobs look pretty cool on certain bikes :thumbs2:
