CHL Renewal Application Forms

CHL holders who elect to submit paper Renewal Applications evidently no longer have to request a Renewal Application Form from the DPS CHL Unit. I have always told students to request the form, and they received a blue form with their information preprinted.
Recently, one of my renewing students showed the form he received from DPS, and it was a blank CHL-77 Form.
So, I have printed out CHL-77, CHL-85, and CHL-86 forms to give to students who submit paper renewal applications.
This is another example of information that would be helpful for the CHL Unit to communicate to all instructors. It would save us, our students, and CHL Unit Staff time by reducing the number of unnecessary phone calls.
