I dont hardly post here but Sunday made me want to :banghead: :mad5

Liberal digressive wanted to know why I disliked bonamma.
Just facts off the top of my head.
Sealed birth records, sealed transcripts, College records, sealed client list, Conneticuit SS#, some more.

Responce:

He is in office. Those facts are irrelavent.

How do you deal w/ that/ :banghead: :banghead:

Well Sir, that is the tactic of the left as you know...They deflect back to you and eventually you will be talking in circles.

The newest tactic is for the left to just flat out lie, then you have to defend or prove them to be a liar. I've just quit engaging/responding.

Normally I dont. Could not get out of that one.

I usually ask why they love him so much and then point out all the things he said he would do and how miserably he's failed. All the things he criticized Bush for and then done the same things or worse.

A liberal friend of mine put an inaccurate quote by MLK on her facebook page once. It was something he had never said.

When I pointed that out to her, she responded with "Well I don't care if its right or not, I agree with the sentiment."

Sums up liberal thought processes pretty well, I think. Facts and reality do not matter. Only how something makes you feel. :banghead:

I don't bother debating things with folks who don't understand what a discussion of ideas entails. Pearls before swine and all that.

"Well, he wants to get elected again, so they're relevant once again."

Not that I would voluntarily have discourse with a liberal anyway.

I do have to stop and take a deep breath first and remind myself that I'm dealing with someone who makes their decisions based on emotion rather than facts. Once I get myself in the right frame of mind I can debate with them. Not as well as TAM, but usually sufficiently.

And so are Romney's tax returns. Now, can we move on and talk about covering up his role in "Guns for Cartels?" Or, would you prefer to discuss his Sec. Treas. who definitely DIDN'T pay his taxes.....at all. Or, would you like to talk about his war on religious freedom? Or, how about we talk about 3+ years of unemployment above 8%? Would you prefer we discuss chrony capitalism and Solyndra? You could ask him if the fine that I will have to pay because I cannot afford health insurance in the first place is a "TAX" or a "PENALTY" and then ask him why the administration keeps changing the name of it to suit their purposes. You could ask what he thinks about Eric "Gun Trafficker" Holder refusing to prosecute New Black Panthers for voter intimidation (a clear violation of election law about which there is no "gray area") because he said "they are my people." Ask how he can Obama support gay marriage, and then force us to get most of our oil from nations that execute gays for being gay. How about asking him why he can't communicate, for all of his education, without a teleprompter when his challengers have no such trouble. Ask him if he is OK with illegal aliens taking lower paying jobs away from unemployed african-american youths.......because the black community most assuredly is NOT OK with it.

And finally, he may BE president, but he is RUNNING for reelection, so the other questions are NOT irrelevant......unless he really doesn't want the job. Both is record, AND the things he is hiding are most certainly up for discussion. If democrats don't want to discuss it, well it's because they know they can't defend it.

The fundamental intellectual dishonesty of democrats is apalling. It shows a profound lack of adult maturity. Their tactics, in this order are: to deny and obfuscate; to lie about the opposition in the most vile and atrocious ways; and when nobody is buying their undulterated CRAP, they throw down the race card.

That's all they've got, and they are not worthy of the power to which they grasp after.

I saw this exchange on The Five last night:

*Paraphrasing
They're reading a report that an anchor at MSNBC had a problem with MItt Romney announcing Paul Ryan's pick on a Naval ship because "he shouldn't use the military as a background because neither of them served in the military."

The host points out how many times BHO has used the military as a background and holds up a folder that details the President's military service. You already know it's empty.

What does Bob (the liberal) say? "He's the Commander in Chief, that's the highest ranking military rank in the country."

WHAT?!

Same ludicrousness as the OP. Guess what, if Romney gets elected, he'll have the exact same "military experience" that BHO currently does.

The nice equalizer is that the Dems can't say anything about Romney / Ryan on not having foreign policy experience, not being in the military, etc.

What I can't understand is that he still has huge leads among the young, blacks and hispanics. Those have been the groups most hardhit by unemployment and inability to find employment.

The young like him simply because they think of him as young and hip, and they haven't been around enough to understand long term consequences. Blacks and hispanics love him for different reasons. Blacks went for him something like what....96% or something like that? He IS the US's first half black, half white president....and most particularly that portion of the black community that feels perpetually aggrieved sees him as their rescuer. Hispanics like him because he guarantees that their cousins in El Salvador and Mexico will be able to vote in US elections. Plain and simple.
