Advice on finding out company's firearm policy

I am trying to figure out what the firearm policy is for the company that i work for. It is a large corporation and i have gone through the policies and guidlines available on the intranet and havent found anything so far. However, i want to be thorough in my research so i dont risk losing my job by carrying a firearm. The building itself is not owned by the company i work for and i have not seen any signage (30.06) on the building that would prevent me from carrying legally.
Who should i ask to get clarification on this subject? Do i go to HR, Legal? How should i bring up the topic without alarming someone? What have you done to find out at the company you work for?
Ive talked to my immediate boss about the topic but he doesnt have any info regarding a policy and i rather ask the question to the right person vs allowing him to go up the chain.
Thanks for the advice!

Better left alone. If it is not in your company policy, there is no 30.06 notification on the entrance, and you have not been verbally instructed, then you are okay to carry. If you start asking people, then all of that changes and may very well lead to verbal notification or a change in policy.
Remember, concealed means concealed.

ditto
If there's no policy written and no valid enforceable 30.06 sign ...
Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
...
for where no law is, there is no transgression. (Romans 4:15)
But loose lips sink ships; try
asking permission from a girlfriend to stand under the mistletoe with another girl ... you'll get almost instantaneous oral notice "you better don't"

And,
oral notice is effective notice under 30.06, then it becomes illegal to carry there
But again ...
... sin is not imputed when there is no law. (Romans 5:13)
DADT.

I would double and triple check all of the company's personnel policies. I they haven't given you a current copy since you were hired, ask for one. Companies make changes all the time and don't inform employees of the changes. Then they act all surprised that you woud violate a regulation that you had no idea existed, and when confronted with the intellectual dishonesty of that, they will answer that (paraphrasing) "ignorance of the law is no excuse." If HR asks why you want an updated copy, just tell them that you want to be sure that you have a current copy, that's all. That is a sufficient and rational answer. If HR asks, "do you have any specific concerns?" answer "no, I just wanted to make sure I was up to speed on all of it."
Then, if you still cannot find anything in the policies that would forbid carrying a firearm (or any other kind of weapon, for that matter), then carry to your heart's content, being vigilant that "concealed means
concealed."
RPB, you're on kind of a mistletoe kick this morning, aren't you?

Good info here. I ran into the same problem when i started my current job. Im a permanent contractor working off-site from my parent company. My employer is in another city and county than where i actually work. My employee handbook has a poorly written 'no weapons' clause, but the building i actually work in shows no indication that licensed carry is unauthorized. Only one person here knows i carry. They are a CHL holder and carry daily as well.
