Basically, the chancellor told the faculty that they are not allowed to cancel their class if a CHL holding student is packing. Not sure how the professor would ever KNOW, but still.
One of the professors had said he'd cancel class & walk out if any students bring a gun to class. What's really odd is that it was a physics prof - not a liberal arts prof. Go figure.

I once had a geology professor who wouldn't allow us to ask about how we knew that the various rock dating methods gave us the correct answer... something about such questions having no place in a science classroom...

Well, there's science, which is wonderful, and then there's the religion of science which is intellectually dishonest and obnoxious.

I once had William Shockley for a class. He was a trip.
