buddy of mine; a CHL and retired Police Officer, wants a Kel-Tec PMR-30
He tried one and liked it.
He'll be at Buchanan Dam/Kingsville's gun show tomorrow selling 1911s, but asked me if I had one (or if anyone here had a Kel-Tec PMR-30 for sale)
Apparently these are rare and hard to find and the few places that have them he hasn't found out about. From what I read, they are selling for MSRP, hard to get, and getting harder to get, but he has the money and time and doesn't care where it's located ... he wants one "as bad as a crack addict wants a fix".

I do not go to gun shows, but on Gunbroker they are going for way more than retail - too much if you ask me.

Yea, don't go looking for it at Cabellas. They give you a lecture on why they don't carry Kel-Tec...
I had to tell the guy that I was not interested in his opinion. Didn't get very good service after that.

Kel-Tec is notorious for very low production numbers, as well as being uninterested in tooling up to meet demand. They have several "high demand" guns (the PMR 30 being one of them) that are practically impossible to find. If you do find one, it's highly likely being sold well over retail. Be prepared to wait a long time or pay a lot.

I was kinda hoping you had one or had access to one we could drive over and pick up next week
I'll let him know about the gun auctions I found and the 1 or 2 places Keltec owners group suggested.

I got in one new PMR but it was a computer glitch that even allowed me to get it. I doubt if I will see another one. I was actually planning on keeping it but I sold it on GB.
