Beretta Nano and Zombie stuff?

So I hadn't been "out" in the real world outside of working and grabbing a bite in a bit so I dropped my wife off at the college and me and my half pint went to Academy in Plano. I wasn't expecting much from the trip which was good because they had the aisles filled with boxes and ladders etc. On foot no problem. A cart with kid in it? not happening. I looked for a Z71 emblem on the side of the cart, didn't see one, so I found another route. Had a chat with the guy across the counter. He tried telling me Glocks are like Fords and he is a Chevy guy. I smiled and said well I am a Chevy guy AND a Glock owner so I must be doing something right. We both DID agree on the Beretta Nano is a huge disappointment.
Thin handle similar to a PF-9 but bulks up at the top. Think of a SR9 but micro sized feel to it. I could have looked past that maybe until I realized no slide release. Unless we were doing something wrong The slide release was also the mag release? Ill pass.
Why is everything going "zombie" lately. Everywhere I look now days everything outdoor/firearm related is zombiefied?
