I think it depends on the cat. Hmm... I meant that as a joke, but now I'm wondering if there's a food level that's high enough to keep a house cat healthy, but low enough that they'll still hunt rodents.
Yeah, I guess the cat's personality would kinda have to play a large role. We adopted a stray once who could clearly catch at least insects or something since she hadn't starved to death, but for the first few years she'd get spooked if she caught me or my dad just looking at her. I can't imagine that cat really hunting anything (she would vigorously defend her food bowl from the dog, though).WildBill wrote:I think it depends on the cat.
