HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) — The security detail that guards the Pennsylvania House of Representatives is no longer carrying guns.

The security guards for the state Senate do not carry firearms, and the House security guards didn’t either, until a few years ago.

Now, the House guards have been disarmed after it was learned that one member of the detail had concealed a criminal record.

Kinda reminds me of the line in the second Alien movie where the squad sergeant asks the luitenant who had just ordered them to unload their weapons, "What are we supposed to use sir? Harsh language?"

So, let me get this straight: One of the Penn. House's security men had concealed a criminal record...

so they disarm ALL the guards? Sheesh. :-(
