A Funny Story

Saturday night I went out to dinner at one of my favorite places. It's kind of a red-neck joint, but sometimes even Bubbas hang out there once in a while. It was a nice warm evening so we decided to sit out on the patio. We were expecting about 10 people to show up so we moved two tables together to accomodate all of the guests.
We all sat down, got settled into our chairs and ordered drinks and appetizers. After about 15 minutes while we were starting to get served, another guest from our party showed up, but we were one chair short. Being the gentleman that I am, I looked around and spotted an empty chair at the table next to us.
I got up, went over and looked at the group and said "Excuse me but I noticed that you have an empty chair." They looked at me kind of strange, "Yeah?" I asked "Do you mind if I take the chair or are you expecting President Obama to show up?" Fortunately, they got the joke and they all starting laughing.
