Broadcasting live and direct from the Hill Country

Finally got my camera system installed this evening (just finished 30 minutes ago...exhausting to say the least).
Channel 4 will be coming online tomorrow, and it broadcasts scenes from the driveway.
Camera quality is not the greatest, but it works for what we need. 480 TVL. It's a Zmodo system I picked up off of Woot a few months back.
Learned two things. Insulation is uber itchy if you have to low crawl over some, and make sure you are sending up the right end of the cable. Getting your hopes up only to find out you sent up the female end of the cable instead of the male end is deflating.
Oh, and for those thinking of doing it, fish tape is the greatest invention. I gladly would have paid $50 for it...costs $20, but paid dividends by keeping my sanity.

Stupid question alert...
Do these systems provide power TO the camera over the same cable as the video feed back FROM the camera to the DVR?
I might be able to get my heart around running one cable, but if I need to run power separately, the required activation energy doubles

Sort of. It's one cable drop with two connections. One for power, one for video. I don't have audio, which I figured was unnecessary.
One drop, split Y cable at each end. One goes to a power connection splitter, and the other goes to the DVR.

There's also a device that is basically a slingshot, that'll send a weight to your target area, then you use the messenger line to pull your actual line where you want it. Takes a little practice to use, and if you have windows in your target area, you might not want to use it (the voice of experience, here), but it works when fish tape is too short.
