Had my CHL since the end of August. This is the first legitimate 30.06 I've seen (Work has a gun buster sign in back hallway.)
I don't think there are many of them in Texarkana.

It was at LifeShare Blood Center where I donate.

Too bad that a donation center would post something that would potentially drive away donors...

My opinion is that you should never tick off volunteers.

Yesterday
I saw the first within 13 miles of me.

Seton Medical Offices and Imaging at 700 Hwy 281 in Marble Falls has some fanatic who posted at least 100 8-1/2x11 ones on each interior door as you walk down the hallway and on the exterior doors too.
There is one proper sized one on the left in the hall as you walk in.
This appears to be a superb location for gun storage in cars if car burglars are looking for a pond containing lots of fish, this is as good or better than a college campus parking lot.

I think I'll call and ask if they have patrols or cameras covering the parking lot or insurance to cover over $2,500 worth of my guns they'll force me to store in the car.

I posted it at texas3006.com
It's a ridiculous number of invalid signs, so I ALMOST carried, but saw the one enforceable proper one, so back to the car I went.

=============================

I called:
1) They have no parking lot patrols
2) I had to leave a message/voice mail for the office/building manager asking about if their insurance covers insuring my $2,500 worth of car contents etc.

The Spanish part of the sign has at least one misspelled word. They should get their money back. :smilelol5:

Thats why I give blood thru one of the donation trucks that serve at the gun show at Market Center. It also benefits the Scottish Rite Hospital.

:iagree: I would disarm and enter the building one more time to tell them in person why I was never coming back again. I would also tell them that I would be making it a personal campaign to persuade others never to use their facility, too. They depend on the good will of the citizens for their existence. Dismissing the 2nd Amendment is not a way to gain good will. I acknowledge their right to act as they see fit. They just need to understand that I have that same right.

There are too many places to donate blood to have to deal with that. My guess would be that they are somehow tied to one of the big medical establishments like Baylor or Harris.

I have yet to encounter an actual 30.06 sign in my short time of carrying. I have seen a couple of the gun buster signs.
Hey BigGuy, I had read on another sight that the Red River Federal Credit Unions in Texarkana had a sign up. I haven't been in my local one since I read that but it didn't have it before.
Have you heard anything about those in Texarkana?

I haven't head about it nor have I been by one. I'll make it a point to check it out the next time I'm over that way.

Codigo, right? The mark over the o is wrong, I think. Makes it look like Portuguese or something.

I had to go to Graybar electrical supply here in Pflugerville this week. Noticed they have a 30.06 posted at the counter entrance. Don't think I'll be going back there.

That's correct... also "EATA" isn't a word, should be "ESTA"
