So my CHL was suspended about two and a half years ago due to a pending indictment. I was told today that the court has completely dismissed my case. However I have moved since my license has been suspended and attempted to change it online but couldn't I guess due to the pending case. So my question is how do I change my address so that my license will be sent here and how do I go about getting my CHL reinstated.

Thanks

Welcome William Wood! I would call the DPS and ask them how to proceed. If the license was suspended you may have to start from the beginning. I sure this isn't the first time this has happened. Make sure you keep several copies of the dismissal so you can send it in.

If you can't change it online, you can send DPS the change of address form by mail. http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/InternetFo ... CHL-70.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It couldn't hurt to include a copy of the disposition. :mrgreen:

Well I contaced the DPS last week and I faxed them copies of the suspension letter and the dismissal. They sent me a letter stating that my license was reinstated and I was able to change my address online today. Thanks for the input.
