Darren Banks of Houston, Texas, has been held in a juvenile detention center since Wednesday on charges of assaulting a public servant, which is a third-degree felony in Texas that carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years as well as a maximum of $10,000 in fines.

Relatives of the boy, who has a history of detentions and suspensions, are enraged over the school’s reaction to his outburst.
Maybe if the relatives showed some concern before it escalated this far, and taught the boy how to behave in a civilized society, the police wouldn't have needed to arrest him for assault.

The great-grandmother to this 10 year-old boy looks like she is about 45-50 years old.

You do the math.

I've been a grandfather since I was 38, but it took me until I was in my 60s to become a great-grandfather. The early starters took a generation off.

Loretta Lynn was a grandmother at 28.

I also retired at 48, from a civilian career, after 28 years of service.
