i was laughing at the lack of brains by the police...but hey it was the UK.
i see folks all over with the blind walking stick...never ever thought it looked like a samurai sword
geeze a white, slender, round with a taper and about 5 feet long. oh and a strap around his wrist

why do the englanders feel they all must be sword swingers....the video of the group demonstrating the samurai techniques
the "pensioner" instead of retiree, i like it

OMG, I really shouldn't have laughed that much, but well, I did.

imagine, the guy the with the sword, hears about the blind guy getting tazed, he just gives up thinking, "dang, that's what they do to blind guys, what are they going to do to drunk guys with sword?" :biggrinjester: (I'm bad this morning)

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A rally in downtown Austin turned a lot of heads Tuesday morning. A large group of blind and visually impaired people came together for a walk down Congress Avenue.

It's all part of the annual White Cane Day. Most of the marchers use the white canes to help them avoid obstacles in their paths. For many of them, Tuesday's event was about empowerment.

As you probably realize, the British use the word pensioner instead of retired person or "senior citizen". I think it sounds "quaint". At least the UK police have the proper manners to apologize and admit their mistake.
