Liberals are for Helping the Poor and Disadvantaged

What an outrage! What a pathetic and rotten place New York City is.

Where have our father's values gone? Just how does this embrace the liberal concepts of helping the poor and disadvantaged? Has substituting the words "poor and disadvantage" changed the value of our sense of responsibility to a neighbor in need?

In the matter of pursuit of leisure vs the survival of disaster victims, which of these parties have options not available to the other? Never mind, go sleep on the streets while we accommodate some who wanna party...we cant disappoint them can we?
Bloomberg Diverts Food, Generators from Devastated Staten Island to NYC Marathon http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government ... C-Marathon
I have experience as to the dilemma facing these poor victims. Our family had to spend several days in our cabin in Spurger after Hurricane Rita. (Rita followed us 65 miles inland) For a day or two the road was blocked by downed trees. We were trapped. Then came the sweltering humidity and of course, mosquitoes. We didnt have electricity, fuel, or running water. We were able to survive by digging a latrine, and thanks to emergency aid, we were able to bathe using 6 pacs of canned water.

These poor people in the city are going to be booted out with Saturday - Sunday temps forecast to be 34* - 48*. Wonder how many have babies and small children?

Rant out....for now. :mad5

Jim Beaux, I'm glad you got that out of your system. Take comfort in the fact that these impacted peoples elected Bloomberg for three terms. What goes around, comes around, eh.

BTW, these same peoples voted overwhemingly for the current POTUS who is currently gallavanting around the country, at our expense, on Air Force One telling all who will listen...whatever they want to hear.

You will be happy to know, after consulting the polls, they have decided to scrap the race. Of course no essential supplies would have been used in the marathon, but scrap it they did. There is an election on Tuesday, so better to err on the side of "not looking like a schmuck".

Yeah, I'd seen the cancellation notice earlier but kinda' like Rahm Emanuel said, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to get in a good poke.

Liberals might not be so bad if they didn't continue to elect idiots.

There are more than enough idiots to go around; e.g., that Mourdoch guy in Indiana.
