Bloomberg says No to National Guard because they carry guns

“We don’t need it,” Mayor Bloomberg said on Wednesday during a press update on the city’s ongoing Hurricane Sandy cleanup. “The NYPD is the only people we want on the street with guns.”

Well, the New York National Guard WAS heavily involved in the formation of the NRA.

Having seen the NYPD's track record and training regimen (
link link... I should think the Guard is far, far better trained to carry guns than the NYPD.
The National and State Guard is trained to deal with these disasters... people are literally begging for help... Bloomberg has turned a deaf ear to their suffering.

A different politician with a lot of money to build a "machine" to compete with King Bloomberg's "machine". As much as I hate this sort of thing, it is still the REALITY of it.

With how bad this has gone he deserves to be run out of NY with tar and feathers coming after him if he does not go. However because this is NY he will likely be elected governor next.

Bloomberg is in his third term there is a two term limit in New York but the mayor and city council passed a special resolution lifting the limit. Public vote quickly reinstated the limit but by then he had won his third term. I can see this happening again next year

The Bloomberg's, Pelosi's, Reid's and the Obama's, etc., etc. do not elect themselves.
Every wacko in each party is elected by...{drum roll}...you guessed it....we, the people.
