I have not bought a pair of Levi's in 20 years. (Levi's has dropped almost 3 billion dollars in sales since it dropped the boy scouts in 1992, it has tried to make up on sagging sales by suing other jean manufacturers for patent infringement and selling jeans at Walmart)
Today I found out I will be selling all my Intel stock tomorrow and using the US postal service and Fedx from now on.
I think I will also not except any packages my suppliers send me from UPS.
I have no objection to the UPS donating money to whatever cause they choose, but when the cut off the boy scouts I will make my choice too.
Idiots.

So, you support the Chick-Fil-A owner's opinion on gay marriage, but are against UPS for a similar stance? I know it's kind of apples to oranges, but still.

That makes no sense. The Chick-Fil-A owner's stance on gay marriage is precisely opposite the UPS decision to support gays.

Did I get that flipped? Never mind, just move along. Nothing to see here.
That's been happening too often lately. Sorry Philip964.

I thought your point was that Chick-Fil-A chooses to give to organizations that share their views, and UPS is doing the same. This would be similar, but with the roles reversed - those who disagree with gay marriage will be the boycotters of UPS.

I have no problem with churches marrying people of the same sex.
I do have a problem with the government marrying people of the same sex.
If I was Jewish, I think I would also object to the government certifying bacon as Kosher or if I was Muslim, I think I would object to the government certifying bacon as Halal.
Actually I think the government should not be in the marrying business in the first place. Please leave that to the churches.
Thanks for reminding me, I have not been to Chic fil a in a month.
Just so it is clear, I don't have a problem with corporations not sending support to the boy scouts. I'm sure many companies do not support the boy scouts.
What I have a problem with is corporations attempting to change a religious organization with their donations.
Kind of like Obama trying to change the Catholic church with his new law.
Sorry, I am a little testy after the election.
