"Shoot at people"

Love how this news report tries to make this sound scary, dangerous, and insane at first - "bring your gun and shoot AT PEOPLE"
this is a great concept though - if you've never tried simunitions, it's worth it for the practical training aspects. And yes, if you get "shot" it DOES sting quite a bit (and leaves a mark)

That looks like fun! Is there anything similar here in Central TX?

Looks like fun but I think I would be happier to do airsoft perhaps and wish we had a place to do similar scenario training with an airsoft.

I have been involved in some simunition training. It's more than a little sting and the marks last. I got hit in the hand I had a pair of leather work gloves on the shot felt about like a yellow jacket sting and the mark lasted for two weeks. It gives a new meaning to "Ouch! That's going to leave a mark."
Unless you are into serious force on force training stick to air soft.

Man... does the owner have to say "Assault Rifle"? Not only is it the incorrect term, but it's just bad press.

I have done it. It stings a little (less than a paintball) but is scary as hell inside a building. I have a simunition kit for my mp5k. I am glad to see this picking up a bit. I would totally do it again.

All you need is a building, a friend and a couple of airsoft pistols
I took a CQB course a while back and a SOI class (both two day) that utilized airsoft. Lots of force on force and scenario training, and it was very good. Unfortunately, the company putting them on has moved on to other things.
I've been a big proponent of Airsoft training for years, but it still has its detractors, sadly.
