Are a new set of finger prints required for renewals? I also heard you don't need to have a new photo taken if you have a recent TXDL, e.g. they'll just use your driver license photo. Is this true?

Edit for clarification: This being a first renewal before the original expires.

Mrs. Oldgringo and I just renewed. We renewed on-line and our original photos and prints were accepted for both our renewals. They'll let you know if you need new prints or photos, I reckon. We're both pretty.
