I hate that yahoo who did the original Gangnam Style but this was brilliant. FWIW, I qualify as the "older generation". I'm even in the AARP.

I am in the same generation as you, but never saw the original so I have nothing to compare it to.

I understand liking the parody better than the original but I don't understand the hate. The music is the same and the video copies many things from the original. It's kind of like thinking Weird Al's "The Saga Begins" is brilliant but hating the yahoo who did the original.

Are you aware of the original performer's violent dislike of the U.S., and the fact that he advocated the mass murder of the families of Americans serving in South Korea? I'd like to pistol whip him. It's not so much about the original video, but about the flaming jerk who made it.........but I like this version.

I wasn't aware of his politics. I don't spend time researching the personal views of pop stars or movie stars, so thank you for explaining why Dragonfighter might hate the man personally.

I don't research them either, for the most part. It's just that this guy (the original) was in the news just last week because this anti-Americanism came to light at the same time as he was getting an opportunity to meet the president. Obutthead had a chance to back away from associating with this cretin, but instead, he embraced it.

Odd, but true story: I was one of the architects for the Space Station Simulator (our group also built the Apollo, Skylab, and Shuttle simulators). At 1:38 and 2:07 you can see some of the stuff we built. My proudest achievement was building a visual simulator of the space station cupola, a full 360 degree visual spectacle. Boy, that thing took a LOT of computing power to run too!
