Here are two polls to hit on the D.C. Court of Appeals' overturning of the D.C. gun ban.

I'm surprised at how high both polls were in favor of gun rights, especially considering that the media tends to give 2A a negative spin.
This is very encouraging.

Most gun polls get hit very hard by members of gun forums, so it isn't necessarily encouraging. But it is fun to overwhelm them in favor of RKBA!

I gotta quote, again, Paul Helmke, president of the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence; from the Washington Post:
The 2-1 decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in Parker v. District of Columbia striking down the District of Columbia's handgun law is judicial activism at its worst. By disregarding nearly seventy years of U.S. Supreme Court precedent, two Federal judges have negated the democratically-expressed will of the people of the District of Columbia and deprived this community of a gun law it enacted thirty years ago and still strongly supports.
Right now, the two polls of Washington D.C. news sources that Charles posted asking if respondents support the Court's decision show: 84% Yes, 16% No at WTOP News. 82% Yes, 18% No at NBC4.
Mr. Helmke obviously has a different view of reality than most of the American population.

Two polls on the D.C. Gun Ban matter
I doubt that they really matter, but I play anyway.

I didn't see a poll on the second link. Did they pull it because it wasn't going their way? Am I just blind?

In the shaded box, click on "Related: Should Handguns Be Legal In DC?"
That should open the poll.

Another poll (this one on a local D.C. station's site):
myfoxdc.com/myfox/
I didn't make it a clickable link so you'd have to copy and paste it in your browser. We don't want to tip them off that all the folks who are for the ruling are from pro gun sites.

The first poll is now at 88% (yes), the second is 87%.
Does anyone have Michael Moore's e-mail address?

I hit 'em both. I typically don't do online polls, but this decision is way too important...
I'm still tickled....
Chas- what do you think the likelyhood is that:
a) the full Court of Appeals will hear, and reverse,
and
b) if the full CofA reverses, what are the odds that SCOTUS will grant cert?
