Over the next few days SSD will be posting items from industry professionals that we hope will inform and spark discussion on the Second Amendment of the Constitution. This second article is from USMC Veteran Paul Buffoni, owner of Bravo Company USA.
Please share this information on your FaceBook page in the hope that other folks in the “I support the 2nd Amendment, but don’t want people to have AR15 rifles” crowd get a better real understanding of the issues at stake.

problem is RP, we dont want them to know the 556 is a wusy cartidge, they start thinking about the 30 and 40's they will have a melt down and try to ban all firearms.
oh wait a minute, they are trying to ban all firearms!!
but really the main reason they are going after the 556 is that they have been told that it will penetrate a ballistic vest and it will, if your close enough, the larger calibres will do better at a longer range hence the reason we had trauma plates in our vests in the sandbox, but really the 556 is just a lighter(less power at range) high speed cartridge
