Kind of like this one, only heavier.

Looks like a progress... in reverse. ( = progressive)
I would feel better armed with Jallen's lever action.

Not that I want to be forced to use one, but gotta disagree with y'all. A manual action AR could be lighter than a lever (about 6-7 pounds vs about 7-8 pounds, depending on configuration) and with even a 10-round mag would have a few more BBs than a lever gun. Not to mention better stock iron sights and better optics interface.

You're right AR. We did enjoy poking fun at the neutered beast as it is.
Until you came along...

His rifle is broken -- doesn't cycle. He should get it fixed.

I would love to have something like a Mauser bolt lock work in an AR platform; maybe a 300 winmag.

And the thutty thutty would have .30-30 or better ballistics instead of .223, which could be considered a better choice.

Mine is a .38/.357, light, compact, although harder/slower to reload, for sure than merely popping in a new magazine. It is unquestionably legal in California though. Before bullet buttons, when EBRs were considered illegal here, I thought it would be ideal for a bug out gun, with respectable fire power, paired with my Ruger GP100, same ammo etc., but now the ravages of old age and decrepitude make bugging out either impossible or a bad idea.
