I just want to thank those politicians as I truly appreciate the pay cut. The article shows a simple chart saying how much you will see in the tax increase each month. This will hurt everybody.

The 2% reduction in SS taxes in 2011 and 2012 was pushed by Obama as a temporary stimulus so as much as I would like SS taxes to be cut even more, I'm not the slightest bit surprised to see them return to the rates we had from 1990 through 2010.

The increased taxes won't pay the interest on the debt. Meanwhile our debt increases over $1 trillion annually. What our representatives have done is nothing short of criminal. And they've doomed the US to economic collapse.
