I decided to write her a letter as well and this is the email I received.

Thank you for sending me your electronic mail message. I appreciate your taking the time to share your thoughts with me.

Because of the volume of e-mail that is received by my office, we can only respond to email that includes a California postal address. Please resend the text of your e-mail message, including your postal address, and I will respond to you as soon as possible.

Should you need additional information about the Congress, or my offices in Washington and California, please visit my homepage on the World Wide Web. The address is http://feinstein.senate.gov" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Thank you again for contacting me, and I hope you will continue to do so in the future.

Sincerely,

Dianne Feinstein
United States Senator

I doubt if it had been read, the reply would have as cordial.(automated I know) I didn't think they would read it anyway, I just hope it helped to jam up her inbox.

Then she should not be writing bills that affect the entire United States! :banghead:

My God.......I could never believe there are more idiotic people in Congress than Joe Biden! But she takes the cake!

I ran into that wall before.
Years ago I wrote to every US Rep and every US Senator about US Army Corps of Engineers land.
It isn't uncommon for US legislators to only read and respond to the people of their State which elected them.

But, I still write.
I guess I'm too honest ...

I found that some Northerners writing Texas legislators during the 2011 Texas session, I suspect, used Google to locate Texas zip codes and Internet Real Estate ads to find house for sale addresses, and pretend the "Brady Bunch" was from Texas (pretend residents of so-and-so's district) in order to be heard.
