So far I have completed the classroom and range training. I'm scheduled for my fingerprints tomorrow morning. And this weekend I am getting my photo i.d. After filling out the online application I realized I did not put down a dui/dwi from 10 yrs ago. Can they decline me for leaving things off my record? I tried to go back and edit but it says it is waiting for the rest of my paperwork.

Get on the TX DPS website and pay for your criminal history. It may not even be on there as TX is very behind in submitting records to DPS.

If they find it they will send you a letter requesting paperwork on it.
When you get the letter you have 90 days to get the requested paperwork back to them. If you dont they will cancel your app.

Would it help to send a copy of my criminal history with my packet? And does anyone have a link for this? Not very good at navigating on txdps...

if you have something from the county clerk with the case disposition, yes, it helps them and should speed up the process, as they may send you a letter asking for it anyway (causing 30 days + delay in processing)

You could put copy of the disposition in the packet and a note explaining that you accidentally failed to put it on the application and are including the information and the disposition. That way you are forthcoming with your info and they may not need anything else from you.
