Shots fired in movie theater in San Diego, CA. Good thing for the people that the police are good shots as CHL's are NOT the norm in San Diego. The article also shows that one doesn't need hi cap magazines to stop a threat since SDPD now carries "service revolvers" "rlol" . Last I checked we gave up our service revolvers back in the 90's, but when we did carry the wheel guns, the model 66 was a great weapon.

It would be interesting if it really were a revolver or if the media is wrong again. They could be trying to convince us that the police don't use those evil black semi-automatic guns and at the same time try to convince us that we don't need them either. Further trying to brainwash people into thinking that these types of guns are only desired by those with evil intentions.

That is wrong. SDPD carries semi autos and patrol rifles. Another article on it. Funny this guy had a history of DV. I wonder if he had a conviction - if so he couldn't legally own a gun....

The perp/idiot was 20 years old.

He could NOT purchase a new handgun from an FFL under federal law.

I do not know California firearms law, but according to Calguns, you must also be 21 to transfer a private party handgun via an FFL

Sure seems that DV or not, it was still an illegal handgun.

I'm sure that's what you meant anyway, Bob - just clarifying.

n light of the back-to-back shootings at local movie theaters, McManus sought to reassure San Diegans.

"Certainly it is safe to go to the movies," he said.
Because obviously a man with an illegal gun would never enter a theater. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
