I think I did my last Wally Walk today. They still don't have any .22LR on the shelves. Plus, their price on my choice for a no-contract smart phone was 15-20% more than Amazon, even with shipping. So much for always having low prices. They do still have the longest lines of any retail store I know.

It's the end of an era. Between online shopping and my local HEB, there's no reason to return to Walmart.

I've been looking for .22lr also and make the rounds between my local Walmart, Academy, Dick's and Cabelas every few days. On Friday I got lucky and found 1,000 rounds at Dick's. Maybe try checking there?

I have not set foot at a Wal-mart since July of 2006...
