Having A "Conversation" ??

This seems to be the latest buzz phrase from the left. All the talking heads on the liberal press outlets is using it over and over, and earlier today President Zero continued with it.

He refuses to recognize any need to cut spending. He refuses to listen to any constutional experts as to the legality of the existing admentments to the constituon, refuses to accept any responsibility for the economy, and continues to blame it on the republican party.

The left's defination of a "conversation" is for everyone else shut the hell up and listed to them tell us how to think and what to believe.

Today he continued his campaign to sway public opinion his way on spending increases. He has started telling us that without the increases he wants, social security checks will be late and the military will not be paid on time. This is the same crap local governments use to push their tax and 'fee' schedules ever higher by saying that the first cuts will have to be made to fire and police departments, making people unsafe.

How much longer will people continue to accept this from our officials?

They do the same thing with the school systems. They build a new (unneeded) school, staff it with new furniture and the latest and most expensive office equipment (usually leased at high prices, with no cancel contracts), them want large increases or they will have to start firing teachers. Time and again we hear it, time and again we do nothing meaningful, except pay higher prices.

I believe our 'conversation' with them should be "Not only NO, but HELL NO.

Our 'side' has got to do a much better job. We had almost four years to scout the country, looking for and finding our own silver tongued devil. Someone that looks good, able to frame our arguments in everyday language that the voters can clearly understand. Plain language that the left would have trouble twisting. As long as everything we say must be politically correct, this will be a very difficult task. But we have had almost four full years, and continue to parade out the same old tired and unqualified candidates because it is their turn.

Will we ever find a real leader? I sure hope so, and SOON.

It's worked for him for 4 1/2 years. Why should he stop now?

I think that is the $64K question. No mortal is without sin and if the sins aren't big enough, the Liberal media will trump them up until they seem like the leader is the devil incarnate. As has been suggested, repeating the same lie over and over seems to work with the American electorate.

We Conservatives are sometimes our own worst enemies. We take someone who had a lot of good qualities but differed on a couple of issues and eat them alive. No compromise isn't just holding to one's values, it is a non-starter at getting someone elected in our current environment.
Who can blame anyone for not wanting to submit themselves to that meatgrinder?

Liberals don't have conversations, they have lectures. It is a superiority thing.

I know it won't happen since the Republican leadership in the house are a bunch of cowards, but what they need to do is to stop funding government agencies starting with the BATFE, Department of Education, Department of the Interior, EPA, and maybe the Secret Service as a start.

:iagree: The President criticized them for being unwilling to pay for the funding that they authorized. So they just need to un-authorize a lot of it. Starting with AFT sounds like a splendid idea. The 54K Mexicans who signed a petition about US guns can then be satisfied that our government won't be doing that (selling guns to criminals in Mexico) any more.
