Best one can do to protect 2nA is to talk to his or her spouses to sign up for an NRA membership. The more members the easier NRA can demonstrate public support.

My wife and I both upgraded our Life Memberships to Endowment Member two or three months ago, and I have helped 4 people on this forum to upgrade their memberships to Life Member. I also FaceBooked Charles' article and offered any of my FB friends to help them upgrade their memberships if they are already members. Also, I've talked it over with my wife, and if money is a stumbling block to joining NRA for anyone in our regular circle of friends, we will help them financially as long as we are able to do so.
That is our commitment. Charles is right. 4 million members isn't going to be enough. We need 40 million members. That means that each and every member of NRA has to recruit 10 people to make it happen. We CAN make it happen. We HAVE TO make it happen, or we are all hosed. So my wife and my goal is to try and get 20 people enrolled in NRA this year.

Signed her up 2 weeks ago or so. The Bass Pro gift card is a nice bonus.

Ya know they could grow their ranks by allowing an "associate member" status for $0 no benefits just a number to add to list of the represented. I know it does not help with money but it does help with the number game.

They do offer an associate membership, but not for free, it's $10 and excludes the magazine.

If you sign up for EPL life it's only $25 a quarter which is only $8.33 a month. So for 8 bucks a month you can be a supporting member of the NRA. Not bad really.

Mrs. Anygun is a life member. She would have preferred shoes.
