Chl requirements changing end of month?

I just got a call from a friend saying if I didn't have a class yet I should try to get one before the end of the month. Something is changing to make it more difficult? My class is feb 3 so I won't make the end of the month if something is going to change. Just wondering if anyone knows what he's talking about.

Does seem strange, I haven't heard anything. I doubt that any of the requirements are going to change in the immediate future. The legislature just started making the agend for their upcoming session. I don't think that the requirements can change without them.

Brian you shouldn't have any problems in February I just talked to an instructor and to his knowledge nothing is changing at this time. Maybe another instructor here may have different info.

Awesome. We scheduled for class with central Texas gunworks. We got the holiday prices before they went back up. I think we are all pretty excited. I've already applied with dps and got my passport and fingerprints. I later found that the class provides everything but the fingerprints. Oh well. We shall seek guess.

There have been no changes, but some bills this session may affect future classes.
Any changes adopted during this session will take effect September 1, 2013.
