I thought this was a joke. Apparently it's real.

The hagiography the lamestream media has provided for Obama is nothing more than stunning in its shamelessness and vulgarity. You can't make this stuff up. When I was a young man, this was the kind of reporting you would see in Pravda or some other commie rag, lionizing Leonid Brezhnev. Even the New York times didn't have it in them to suck up to a president the way the media does now.
The sad part is that there is no way back for them. They have so thoroughly alienated the "paying attention" segment of the population that the trust has been permanently damaged. It will take new publications, operating under new mastheads, to restore the faith of the news consuming public, while the legacy media must die out entirely in order to save journalism. They have abandoned the fourth estate for the fifth column.

Hmm seems to me the person doing the cover layout got the words in the wrong order:
Coming [for] The Second was what they meant.

Hallelujah! Our Savior is here... and he is going to take us to the promised land! We only need to open up our wallets and give up our guns

“In a way, Obama’s standing above the country, above — above the world. He’s sort of God. He’s going to bring all different sides together.”
How's THAT workin' for ya?
I don't give a second thought to the people who peddle this drivel. The ones who seriously consider it for more than a nanosecond are the problem. They are the ones who kept Billy Mays and P.T. Barnum going.

REAL Journalism is dead. No longer do you have journalists digging deep for
Journalism: Who, What, When, Where Why and How.
What we see and hear in todays media is emotional opinions and Marxist ideology. It is pure propaganda and if you ever disagree with it... there is a collected effort to attack the person, isolate and shut them up. Rules for Radicals in the media is alive and well.
Politicians lie and are quoted as saying that they misspoke. Media takes that lie and runs with it and tells you that you are a fool if you do not believe that lie. I no longer trust politicians to do what is right and I no longer trust the media to report on what is right! This all reminds me of Soviet Style tactics.

It sounds alarmingly like the Kim Jung Il idolatry - are we going to hear stuff like this next?
"In 2004, Washington media reported that Obama shot an amazing 11 holes-in-one to achieve an unprecedented 38-under-par game on a regulation 18-hole golf course - on his first try at golf. Reports say each of his 17 bodyguards verified the record-breaking feat."
No wonder the first syllable of the word sycophant sounds like "sick".
When I read stuff like that quote you posted, AndyC, I'm not sure whether to be dumbfounded by it, enraged by it, or sickened by it...but I guess mostly, I'm just incredibly sad that there are such people in our country who could write such things...and that there are plenty of those who fall for it.

Thank you for the parallel. The NKM (North Korean Media) is the perfect acronym for the leftist toadies in today's American media. They make me sick.
