There was also a great article in the WSJ this week showcasing the "fail" of Washington DC's gun control "efforts" and the effect on crime. Very good.

If you're referring to the former D.C. prosecutor's op-ed piece on how he watched crime get dramatically WORSE after implementing gun control, and how they spent all their time jacking up otherwise law-abiding citizens, I agree - that was a very strong piece.
