1933 Mosin Nagant 91/30 Tula manufacture, hex receiver. This is an arsenal refurb with the laminate stock, but the laminate looks really good. There is some electropencil work, so not all of the parts match. The bore is bright and clean. It shoots good, but like many of my rifles, it has only seen maybe a box or two in my hands. I purchased it from importer, and it looks the same way it left the arsenal (other than the mountains of cosmoline). It comes with a bayonet.

SOLD

Any trouble with the bolt sticking?

No. I have a couple of these, and I've never had that problem.

I have an M44 my brother recently gifted me for my birthday. I believe my sticking bolt was caused
by packing grease in the chamber and lacquer on steel-cased ammo when the thing heated up.

I spent this weekend cleaning the chamber and I shot it today (but not the lacquer-coated ammo, instead
it was zinc-plated steel cases).

I just have to say this thing is FUN to shoot!
Whoever gets this gun should be in for a lot of fun shooting!

Cosmoline can get hard and you have to scrape it off. I have picks and stuff that I use to get it all off. It gets gummy and leaves a hard film in some places. It usually gums up bolts and keeps the firing pins from working properly.

I have an M44 too. It doubles as a flamethrower.

I have 2 Mosins, one of which I cut down to a carbine-they are 2 of my favorite shooters.

I have a 91/30 and a M44, both shoot sweet. Someone should buy this as 7.62x54R is still somewhat available.

Chris, it was a pleasure doing business with you, and I enjoyed the conversation very much.

So I am now FINALLY the owner of a Mosin Nagant. I hope it doesn't try to fondle my Remington 700's buttstock in the safe. No telling what might happen.

I stopped by my son's work on the way home and showed it to him. He said to buy two 440 round battle packs and find a potato field somewhere to bury the ammo and the rifle together until "something arises."
