Luke 11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

When the strong man fully armed guardeth his own court, his goods are in peace:

When the strong man, fully armed, [[a]from his courtyard] guards his own dwelling, his belongings are undisturbed [his property is at peace and is secure].

"A strong man armeth, and protecteth his house."

"My house shall be called a house of prayer," said Senator Linda Chesterfield (D-Little Rock), quoting Matthew 21:13 in opposition to the bill. "[The Bible] doesn't talk about violence. If there was one person who was anti-violence, it was my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

I hear people quote scriptures about Christ being anti-violence. I always ask them why Peter was carrying a sword when he cut off the soldier's ear.

Luke 22:36
Then He said to them, "But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.

Peter carried a sword because Jesus told him to. Of course Peter did not understand that the sword was for his own protection as Jesus did not need to be protected.
