This needs to happen at every gun buy back program. Any in Houston?

That is just too funny. They want to do buy backs, they a going to have to she'll out more cash for an AK as the going rate is much more than 200.

That is awesome. This needs to happen all over. Save the good stuff and let the cops have the junk.

Too cool. I wonder if Dallas or any other local PDs will be sponsoring any gunshows/buy backs anytime soon. Might be able to pick up a 1911 sooner than expected.

I just saw on Fox that there was a SAM (surface to air missile) launch tube presented for buy back?

As long as it was just the tube I don't even see how it could be classified as a firearm. Wish I had one of those.

I like this quote from article
In Milwaukee, and to the fury of Mayor Tom Barrett, Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. launched a media ad campaign promoting a new partnership with residents of his city :

I’m Sheriff David Clarke and I want to talk to you about something personal: your safety. It’s no longer a spectator sport; I need you in the game.

But are you ready?

With officers laid off and furloughed, simply calling 911 and waiting is no longer your best option. You can beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you can fight back. But are you prepared?Consider taking a certified safety course in handling a firearm so you can defend yourself until we get there.

You have a duty to protect yourself and your family.
