Piers Morgan on Leno

Did anyone catch the pompous, insufferable Piers Morgan on Leno? We all know that Leno is a big Obama supporter, and he's doing all he can to reward king Obama for exempting Hollywood from ANY responsibility for our societal decline (Hollywood actually got a TAX BREAK in the recent "fiscal cliff" farce). As you would expect, the entire segment was used to show gun owners as crazed fools, and gave Morgan a HUGE, FREE platform to trot out all of the gun grabbers best lines in front of millions of people. I would like to think that tomorrow night, Ted Cruz would be invited to provide his thoughts, but know it won't work that way. It was all I could do to keep watching and not wake my family with my verbal "retorts".....
It's time for war against the media outlets - actually by letting their advertisers know that we will no longer be needing their products. Any social media experts out there who can help?? The coordinated attack on our liberty is truly amazing. At first I thought there was no way they could succeed, but am now starting to see that we need to be prepared for the unthinkable.

I watched what I could. They always bring out Alex Jones to represent gun owners. To me this a pathetic attempt to sway the unlearned their way.

Leno is a waste of time.
Morgan is desperate to do something. For all of his bluster, his ratings are in the tank. The story on Drudge yesterday day was that Rupaul's (drag queen) ratings on another channel were higher than Morgan's on CNN. He is doing is best to try and whip up interest in his pathetic persona.
It looks like CNN is in the middle of a big shake up. Maybe Zucker will echo the rest of us and say that he has had enough of PM.

Seeing Piers is the only time I really miss Larry King, and that is something I thought I would never say.

Watch Jimmy Fallon instead. If you don't stay up that late, DVR Fallon and watch the previous night's episode when Leno comes on.
You can thank me later.

I make it a habit not to grant "pompous and insufferable" individuals an audience, so, no.

Right on the money (pun intended) I'm IT at a newspaper. I was originally hired as a graphic artist and did political cartoons as part of my job. I can promise you that that a letter to an advertiser has way more impact than all of the righteous indignation you can possibly pour from your pen. Send the letter to the advertiser and a copy to the media outlet. (I've never worked in television, but can't believe that it isn't the same.)
Lastly, let me echo the sound advise I've seen offered here so many times. Don't be a jerk. Avoid hyperbole and grandiose statements. I've never met people in the business who give serious credence to a firebrand. Keep it short. They've already heard the arguments. And that's not really what you're saying anyway. You're simply telling those folks that you will no longer spend money with them because of a specific stance or action they've taken. Bottom line, that's all that matters.

I watched him (under duress at an inlaws house!) and thought he had a nearly fatal case of the funny fail. He does not even make me smile.

Morgan is a sensationalist fame whore. Whoever said he stood on the graves of Sandy Hook children to grab the spotlight was putting it gently.
