Under 21 Drivers License

Hi, I still have my under 21 license, just haven't updated it yet because it doesn't expire for another 2 yrs. When I go to enroll for fingerprinting it states that my license number is invalid? Any suggestions? Do I have to update my license before I can get my CHL?... My class is this saturday so I really wasn't too happy when this happened.

Don't use your DL number, use your bar code number you got from DPS when you submitted your application (email sent back to you). If you have not done your application on line, wait to submit fingerprinting until then.

It says your license is invalid either because you have not completed your online CHL application, or it has not had time to be entered into the database yet. It will not accept your DL number if there is no existing record to link it to.
