I am going to place an order with Tucker for a couple of holsters for my new piece next week, but since the shortest lead time I'm looking at is 10 weeks, I need something decent in the interim.

I'm looking to stay under $50, prefer IWB but would consider a low profile OWB, like a slide holster. I carry right handed strong side 3-4 o'clock.

LMK what you've got!!

Cyphur,

I purchased a Blackhawk with the Serpa lock for my 229. Mine is old so it doesn't have the rail, but I am told that they have a model for both. It comes with the belt slide and the paddle attachement. I just picked it up tonight but it seems to work pretty well and the cant is adjustable. $42 at The Bullet trap in Plano. They had one more on the shelf.

For the price you can't go wrong with a Serpa. They ride pretty close and wear well. They are much better than others in that price range.
