I follow this guy's blog, and I believe what he wrote today should be trumpeted to the skies.

I have my own thoughts on the real underlying why of Trayvon Martin's violent end (I am not speaking of the events that day, per se), but due to the constraints of this forum, I will just say this: a broken culture.

The article was not really about why Trevon died, but rather it asked a more rhetorical question...
"Why is a white/hispanic man shooting a black man THIS big a deal, when more than 8,000 black men were killed by other black men last year without this much outrage?"

I saw that on the news and thought... if he had survived, he'd probably be getting tried as an adult for something soon.

I read the article...I simply believe that the basis of the article is inextricably tied to what I stated above...

What happened to stand you ground dismissal hearing?
What evidence the prosecutors provided that has the elements of homicide?

7,262. The total KIA of U.S. troops with African heritage, all branches, for the entire Viet Nam conflict.
78,521. The total of U.S. citizens with African heritage murdered between 2000-2010.

The black community has a lot to do to clean up their hood. Tolerating drug dealers is crazy thought by itself. How about living with a felon who carries firearms and his job is push white drugs!

You mean someone has a better chance to see their 18th birthday if they stay away from drugs and don't start fights. I'm shocked!
